MALY2TIFF MALY to TIFF is a converter which translates the MALY Job deck along with the accompanying OASIS files to a raster TIFF image. The MALY format is defined by SEMI’s P45 specification for Job Deck Data Format for Mask Tools.

TIFF_EXTRACT TiffExtract takes as its input from a GDSII or OASIS file and an ASCII list of windows that one wants to extract to either TIFF or BMP format. For each window in the list it extracts all data on the specified layer crossing the window and rasterizes the geometries to produce a bitmap. The bitmap is stored to disk with a unique name.

Artwork is starting to develop a set of translators from 2D EDA data (PCB layout, IC layout and MEMs) into 3D MCAD tools. We have done significant work over the last 6 years in preparation – first with our 3Di database and viewer (used in Cadence SIP family of package and MCM products) and then with the more recent Read3Di software for importing 3Di directly into SolidWorks (using SolidWorks API). This will enable us to write converters from Gerber, ODB++, IPC2581, and GDSII to STEP.

Artwork released MALY to TIFF converter which translates the OASIS MALY Job deck format to raster TIFF. This format is also referred to as the SEMI P45 specification for job deck data format for mask tools.
